Meet Our Team

It is frequently said that people make the place and I am proud to say that my staff validates that principle. We all adhere to the fundamental truth that our patient’s safety is our top priority. We work together as a team and truly enjoy spending time with our patients and guiding them through the plastic surgery process. Kendall – Physician Assistant
Kendall is a nationally board-certified Surgical Physician Assistant who has trained in a variety of procedures. She holds a Bachelors of Science in Integrative Biology from the University of Colorado Denver. She then completed her Masters of Science in Physician Assistant Studies with academic honors at the University of Alabama Birmingham, one of two surgical programs in the United States. She is so grateful to have joined Dr. Hobar’s staff to continue his dedication to excellence in patient care. One of her top priorities is patient education and preparing you for the surgical process. You will find her assisting Dr. Hobar in the operating room and in clinic during your initial consult and follow up visits.

Plastic surgery is a perfect fit for her as it blends art, medicine, and patient interactions. She truly believes that each patient is unique and that they deserve a customized, rather than cookie-cutter treatment plan. She loves assisting patients throughout their road to recovery while ensuring they have the best experience possible.

She is originally from Denver, Colorado but is happy to now call Dallas home. She lives here with her husband and two Shiba Inus. In her free time she enjoys cycling, painting, and traveling to the beach.

Kendall is recognized as a member of Pi Alpha National Honor Society for Physician Assistants, Association of Plastic Surgery Physician Assistants, Texas Academy of Physician Assistants, and American Academy of Physician Assistants.

Dawna – Office Manager
Dawna has been an integral part of managing Dr. Hobar’s practice for the past 27 years. Her greatest passion is to help and educate patients as they prepare for and undergo surgical procedures. She has helped guide thousands of patients through the surgical process from initial scheduling, consultation, and follow up care. She is quick to laugh and always available for questions or advice. “I love what I do. I look forward to getting up every day and coming to work because I know I might make a difference in someone’s life today.”
